Working in Liverpool city centre, I've seen quite a few cool things during my time at liquid. Unless you've been living on another planet, you'll know that the World Cup has well and truly, well, taken over the world! It's a fever pitch out there with almost every brand, retailer and supermarket getting in on the footy action, all enticing us with specials offers, clothing and merchandise.
However, some clever bods have also used the football to create some great brand awareness amongst the public and this idea really stood out for me.
During a regular day in the office, we were intrigued by a lot of car horn honking going on outside. Noses pressed firmly against the glass, we saw parked outside on the road a team of 11 Minis all in matching football kit-themed livery, complete with squad numbers on the roof! Of course the website address on the back of each car prompted me to find out more - great bit of PR for Williams Group, the biggest BMW and Mini dealer group in the north west.
Apparently the Minis are touring around the Manchester and Liverpool area so keep a look out for them.
