During a 7-year relationship liquid worked on many large direct marketing and promotion projects for Staples, the office supplies giant who have 136 stores throughout the UK. Liquid was required to drive footfall and sales through the design of a wide range of promotional materials which aggressively showcased ‘hero products’ with a great price point.
Liquid worked across a broad range of promotional material, including a huge range of direct mail pieces. Our design team ensured that every piece of artwork had a hard-hitting sales message, coupled with a clear presentation of the newest products and latest deals. We wanted people to read them after all – and buy the products.

Liquid also designed promotional flyers and catalogues to promote the newest products and latest deals which had to be sent out every couple of weeks, sometimes more often. The flyers could be anything from 2 to 16 pages with a print run of 4.5 million. This meant that liquid worked overtime to ensure that all material had the Wow factor and remained on brand.
Liquid are experts in translating promotional offers into maximum impact direct mail and point of sale items. We helped to make the whole shopping experience in Staples as simple as possible – in keeping with their famous ‘That was Easy’ slogan.
