Liquid were asked to rebrand Makro’s in-store cafés, ‘Café Rioba’, based on the company’s own label ‘Rioba’ brand. The new café had to increase footfall into the café and encourage customers to buy Makro’s own brand ‘Rioba’ range for their establishments.
When designing the branded café environment we knew it was vital that it promoted and supported the Rioba brand to Makro customers. The design work we created included wall graphics, menus, canvases and point of sale items.
The clean and simple design injected a new dimension into the Rioba brand, demonstrating how businesses can offer the same products they find in the café to their own customers.
Makro has rolled out Café Rioba in its Manchester and Queensferry stores to great success and there are plans to roll out the project across its remaining 31 stores throughout the UK.
