Liquid are delighted to announce that we have recently begun working with Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). Over the last few months liquid has established a relationship with the prestigious university, designing and producing a range of promotional brochures and other material. As a contemporary university in one of the most famous cities in the world we felt that it would be great to work with LJMU. And, as we are one of the leading design and marketing companies in Liverpool and the North West, we saw it as the perfect fit.

The timing couldn’t have been better either. Just as Liverpool is celebrating its status as the Capital of Culture for 2008, LJMU too is breaking new ground and cementing its global reputation for innovation, by positioning itself as the university for graduate employability.

As investment in Liverpool continues unabated, there’s no doubt that the city is re-establishing itself as a world class centre for business and innovation. LJMU’s links with employers stretch across all sectors and its contribution to the economic prosperity of the city embraces everything from campus construction projects to business start-ups as well as more traditional university activities.

This diversity of expertise is reflected in the commissions secured by liquid. Working with the University’s Business Development Centre (BDC) we have developed a portfolio of brochures promoting the range of business support services offered by LJMU. One brochure, for example, promotes LJMU’s new base at The Heath Business Park, showcasing the business benefits that can be achieved by working with the University.

Chris Mitchell, liquid’s Managing Director, is delighted with the partnership: “Liquid and LJMU share similar values and goals: obviously we are both based in Liverpool and we also both ensure the highest level of performance and quality. These projects have been very interesting to work on and we hope that in the future we can build on this relationship and that it will flourish.”

Geoff Scott, LJMU’s Brand Manager, added: “Liquid have produced creative designs for projects as diverse as business brochures to displays promoting the university’s archives. We have been very pleased with the speed at which their designers have grasped the university’s unique brand identity, which has flummoxed many designers in the past. Their work has been impressive.”
