bad luck Rich

Rich, our Web Programmer, is a die-hard Liverpool fan. As with every Liverpool fan he thought that this was ‘their year.’ And if it isn’t Liverpool’s year then all Reds fans have someone to blame – not Benitez, not Carragher, not even Lucas. The person you have to blame is Rich Crew, or 'the Peeper' as we now call him.

Back in September, despite warnings from Gary about the bad karma that would result from looking at the next month in his Liverpool desk calendar, Rich peeped and confidently predicted that, because it featured Torres, October would be a great month for the red half of Merseyside.

The football Gods had other ideas, however. As you may know Liverpool suffered a torrid month with even a beach ball scoring against them.

October results:

4th Chelsea 2 – 0 Liverpool
17th Sunderland 1 – 0 Liverpool
20th Liverpool 1 – 2 Lyon
25th Liverpool 2 – 0 Manchester United (the footballing Gods briefly took pity on Rich)
28th Arsenal 2 – 1 Liverpool
31st Fulham 3 – 1 Liverpool

We confidently predict Rich won’t be getting ahead of himself again.
